UK to LA
I moved to Los Angeles from the UK in 2011. You’ll hear other English trainers at the gym refer to me as a Scouser, which means I was born and bred in Liverpool, England. According to the Urban Dictionary “Scousers are usually easy going, up for a laugh, and welcoming to outsiders, and usually possess a strong wit similar to that of the Irish, and they also love a good party!” Sounds about right!
BTW, this fitness website was designed by Michelle Farrell of I Ain’t Your Momma, who is also a Scouser, and the pic below is of the Liverpool waterfront.
